Note : The recommended configuration of the computer much depends on the complexity of the models to be machined and machining quality. The more complex the model is, and the higher the machining quality required, the greater number of calculations will be needed to perform, in order to generate the tool movement toolpath. Therefore, the higher specification of the computer, the faster the calculations will be performed.
SprutCAM is not supported on Apple Macintosh® -based machines. Some customers have shown success in running SprutCAM in a Virtual Windows environment on Mac computers using Boot Camp or any Windows emulator (Wine, Parallels Desktop, VirtualBox, VMware Fusion, CrossOver, etc.). While the end user may choose to run Windows on a MAC®, this is not supported by SprutCAM.
** Anti-Virus Software: Most computers today have some kind of anti-virus software to protect from unwanted malware. In some cases these have been found to interfere with applications such as SprutCAM which are running on the PC. SPRUT Technology does not recommend particular products but if you see unexpected issues, it may be a clash with anti-virus software. Out software are checked by Kaspersky Antivirus service, Avast company and we are trusted for our software. Try temporarily disabling the anti-virus software or setting an exception for SprutCAM.
