This page will walk walks you through troubleshooting your ATC communication failure.

Reason: ATC board may not be getting voltage causing check fuses and cabling error.

  1. Inspect your ATC board for LED lights that are illuminated. If you have no lights at all, move to the step.

  1. If you have lights on your board but still no communication, ensure all wires are properly seated and secured in the terminals on the ATC board itself and try and reseat the connector

68V DC
  1. 68 Vdc across wires 204 and 205 at the ATC control board.

68V DC
  1. 68 Vdc across wires 204 and 205, move to the DC bus board in the electrical cabinet and check the F8 fuse for continuity. If you do not have continuity, replace the fuse.
    Note: This value should be close to zero and absolutely no more than 5 ohms.

68V DC
  1. 68 Vdc but no lights on your ATC board, please contact Tormach Tech Support.

  1. Your ATC board should show the following

  1. LEDs lit if it has +

68V DC
  1. 68 Vdc at wires 503 and 504 at the ATC control board and is successfully talking to PathPilot.

  1. If you have +

68V DC
  1. 68 Vdc at wires 503 and 504 at the ATC control board but no lights on the board, contact Tormach Tech Support.

  1. If you do not have +

68V DC
  1. 68 Vdc across wires 503 and 504, move to the DC bus board in the electrical cabinet and check the F8 fuse for continuity. If you do not have continuity, replace the fuse.

  1. If the ATC won’t communicate and the ATC tab goes away, but the

Power Drawbar does open/close and the status page
  1. power drawbar opens/closes and the Status tab shows when the USB is removed and replaced, then inspect the RJ11 (DB3) cable for damage. Reseating and/or replacing this cable may be necessary as it may have became damaged or have an intermitted short.
