xsTech Router Quick Setup Guide

The instructions below will help you with initial setup of your xsTECH Router.

1.  Open the Box

Your xsTECH Router is packed tightly inside the box.  You may find it easier to push the unit out from the bottom of the box, as shown below.

2.  Place on Table

Place your xsTECH on a study work surface.  You can make minor adjustments by threading the feet in or out, if required.

3.  Make USB connections

Plug the keyboard, mouse, jog shuttle, and WiFi adapter in the USB hub.  Then, plug the USB hub into one of the USB connections on the underside of the controller.  

4. Connect E-stop

The E-stop connects to the rear of the xsTECH router.  Align the connector and screw into place to secure.

5.  Connect the communication cable

Connect the RJ-45 communication cable (also known as ethernet cable) between the controller and the xsTECH router as shown below.

6.  Connect Controller Power to outlet on Router

Connect the power cable for the controller to the xsTECH Router.

7.  Connect to Wall Power

Connect the xsTECH Router to wall power.

 

8.  Turn on Main Unit

Turn on the main unit with the switch in the back.

9. Turn on Controller

Press the button on the top of the controller.  After initial boot-up, choose "xsTECH Router" to configure the controller and follow the insrtuctions on the screen.
