In this video, Tormach machinist Mike Corliss demonstrates how to setup a 4th axis with a 4-Jaw Chuck. The 4-Jaw chuck shown in this video has independent jaws, allowing you to adjust each jaw separately. The independent jaws take more patience and care to setup, but allows you to accurately hold odd shaped pieces. Tormach sells 4-Jaw chucks for both 6" and 8" tables, as well as 3-Jaw Chucks.
