Google Remote Desktop
SprutCAM America and Tormach use Google Remote Desktop for support purposes with SprutCAM. To use it, please follow the steps below.
1. Install Google Chrome if you do not have it. This is an internet browser similiar to Microsoft Edge/Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
2. Install the Google Remote Desktop extension for Google Chrome. You will want to click the “Get Started” button in the middle of the screen.

3. If you do not have a Gmail account, create one now as you will be required to login for security purposes.
4. You now will give a name to your current device. Give it something identifiable to you like your name or business
5. You will now be brought to the main screen. Here you will see a list of devices you have connected to your account as well as the current device logged in on
6. Now you can click Remote Support at the top of the screen. You will be able to generate a code to send to the technician who will then enter it in on their end and take control!
7. You should be all set. Please remember to bookmark or save https://remotedesktop.google.com/ to easily access it.
