The PathPilot tab (on the Conversational tab) allows you to add commands that interact with a connected PathPilot CNC machine to a robot program. Available commands include:

  • Request that the connected machine tool execute any valid MDI G-code command.

  • Request that the connected machine tool start the currently loaded G-code program.

  • Wait for the connected machine tool to be in one of the following states: Ready, Idle, Disconnected, Running, Estop.

To add a command, select the appropriate connected machine tool from the Instance drop-down menu. Then, select the type of command you wish to add using the radio buttons on the left of the screen, and select Add To Program.

Note: If no instances of PathPilot CNC applications are available in the Instance drop-down menu, use the Settings tab to establish a connection to your PathPilot machine tool (for more information, go to Connecting a PathPilot-Controlled CNC Machine).
