How do I install tools on the xsTECH Router?

The xsTECH Router uses ER11collets to hold tools. To install a tool, use the following procedure:

1. Click the collet into the collet nut

Do this before inserting the tool in the collet.

2. Insert the cutting tool

Place the tool into the collet and thread the collet on to the spindle so it is finger-tight. You may find it easier to do this after re-positioning the table to the back of the xsTECH Router to provide more space.

3. Tighten the collet nut on the spindle

Using the collet wrenches, finish tightening the collet nut so the tool is held firmly in the spindle.
